1st Lieutenant Harry Welsh is a character amongst his fellow Easy Compay paratroopers. He is short and I mean short! If he were standing beside Lewis Nixon or Richard Winters his head would only come to their shoulders. Where he lacks in height he makes up in plucky personality. Having been busted to private from higher ranks quite a few times in the 82nd Airborne before being transfered to the 101st. Harry is a fighting man, but thanks to his friends he has learned to control that aspect of his life. Now if they could only control his drinking.

He is, after all, an irishman.

Short almost curley strawberry-blond hair is kept in an Army style shortness though its unruley and he doesn't seem to care. His green eyes always seem to spark with life adding to a witty tongue that is always equiped with some sort of comeback.

Uniform wise he is like everyone else- m43 reenforced jump packet, webgear, m-1 garand rifle and helmet. It's a dirty uniform having seen action, so far, in Normandy. Except on the collar of his shirt he wears the silver pin of a 1st Lieutenant which he proudly displays as 1st platoons leader.

As of right now it is 1944 some 14+ days after D-Day near or outside the city of Carentan, France.
